I am prone to insomnia, I once stayed up 5 days, and the world became as thin a paper, colors started seeping, and you get this strange sort of "god" sensation as if your just observing the world, and you know something all those silly "sleepers" don't - then I went to bed.

As far as I know men can sleep on a drop of a dime lol. We the women should be so lucky! My father falls asleep even when he's eating. And my brother in law can't get though a movie to save his life. Men cannot live without sleep. They'll even fall asleep during sex. LOL! They're hopeless.
Without any sleep at all, several days. With napping here and there, just about forever but productivity will be affected. One way that some med students get through their residencies is to learn to cat-nap or "power-nap" for 20 mins or so at a time. You can go for weeks like that.
