Question: I use to weight 220 pound, and i lost 5 pound in one week and I have gained again. I need to lose weight, but what is the best diet? besides south beach diet

The best diet plan is to eat NOTHING for some days, just some crackers per day and drink water. Its the only real way to lose kilos!

Just make sure you exercise daily. A brisk walk or a light run is enough to firm you up nicely. Also, don't starve yourself, but watch what you eat. Try to eat healthy so you can get the energy you need to go on your excursions.
Eat smaller portions and do lots of cardio and some weight training. You will feel hungry for a while, but the results will be worth it. If you get really hungry, dring a big glass of water 15 min. prior to eating.
Meal one = 6 egg whites and a cup of oatmeal
Meal two = 1 Chicken breast and 200 grams of brocolie
Meal Three = chicken cup a soup and a can of tuna
Meal four = 1 Steak and mushrooms
Meal five = salad and six egg whites

Do this daily for 6 weekes and drink 3 litres of water a day and youll loose around 20 lbs
I started out at 370, I've lost quite a bit and many inches when I joined CURVES. A women's only workout place. I love it and it's christian music, etc. You exercise, talk with friends and don't even realize your 30 minutes is up. You do 30 seconds at each machine and switch. Really really nice place. I tried everything else. This is working and my blood sugar has gone from the high 290's to an average of 127 in just 6 weeks!
Try a GI diet. It isn't disimilar to the SOuth Beach diet but is easier and I love it. I have been following Rick Gallop's GI diet (or GI way of eating) for two years now and feel great on it. He lost an amazing amount of weight on it. It is based on sensible eating and advises exercise. My children eat the GI way as it is healthy. May I also suggest you try it for a few months for it really to have any effect.

Try to start off an exercise routine of 20 mins each session two times a week and build from there.

Most people just fast for a few weeks and think its good for them and helping their health..but its not. A good diet (for your looks and health) is one that you obtain just as much exercise as Kilocalories. The best one that I have passed by is Weight Watchers. It is very good. You can eat what you want, even chocolate if you want to, just not as much. Therefore your family will be happy as well, because you will still cook! Another thing is drinking only WATER! It works wonders! Thats how most people lose their weight these days! Good luck!
I personally follow a 1,200 to 1,500 calorie plan.I don't exceed this value of calories. I journal everything that touches my lips--so I KNOW the calories I'm consuming daily--so important.

I also workout 3 days a week at a local gym & walk my dog and additional two days a week (30-45 minutes). JUST AWESOME--I've lost 100 lbs in 9 mo.'s (from a size 28 to a 16!).it can be done, you just have to have the determination eto make some serious LIFELONG dcisions. YOU CAN DO THIS!
apple cider vinegar.2 tblsp daily.speeds up metabol. ... sister mixed it with apple juice ..and drank it down fast like a shot.tastes VERY bad..nasty! but doing that every day plus walking (whether on treadmill or outdoors on a nice day) and sensible eating.she lost 30 lbs in a month & 1/2 . worked for alot of people i know!

Start by walking. Do streches when you get up in the morning.You can also do cycling,skipping,jogging etc
After about a week you can start doing cardiovascular exercise,about 3 times a week and increase it to 5 times a week.

portion control and exercising at least 3 times a week is the best thing. I've done it and have lost 67 pounds. With portion control u eat 6 small meals a day but only those and snack with light healthy snacks during the times u can't eat. I usually eat breakfast around 8am snack until 11pm or 12 noon then drink either a smoothy or eat a small snack like grapes or pineapples. Drinking 8 full 8 oz glasses of water a day is also key. It will keep u full and help keep your digestive tract and functions running smoothly. Now if u are use to drinking sodas on a regular bases i recommend that you wean yourself off sodas. Don't do it cold turkey because if u are anything like me that will cause your digestive tract to react badly and cause your bowels to be loose and abdomnial cramps to develop. Eat only the size of your fist and nothing more than that. No seconds. Drink water or a healthy smoothy of fruits and veggies. if u can stomach it. It works along with either walking 20 mins a day or working out at a gym 3 times a week. Don't think that losing that amount of weight fast is the right way because it isn't. It's unhealthy and can cause severe physical problems for you later. Just set your goal, give yourself at least a year and don't expect it to vanish dramaticly. It takes time, but the results are worth it. Pray u get to where u want because u can do it. Have faith.
Get more exercise. WHAT you eat makes very little difference. Its the AMOUNT of calories you are eating that are making you fat. I could eat dog sh*t and gain weight if I ate enough. Increase your exercise more and you will lose weight.it is impossible not to.
STACK. If you seriously want to lose weight, try it. You won't be disappointed, as everyone I know who has used it lost weight, A LOT OF WEIGHT.
