They do something, but their attributes are almost alwayss greatly exaggerated. They are helpful, but taking a suppliment alone won't do that much.
Depends on which ones and what our goal is. Most of them are a total waste of money. However, for an athlete, Whey protien is an invaluable suppliment, if one wants to improve their performance then creatine would work, and L-Glutamine is great for musle repair after a workout.
