IS COLD FOOD such as ice cream BAD FOR MOTHER GIVING BREASTFEEDING?!

Question:
Answers:
Ice cream would actually be a good choice for you since it contains calcium, a mineral that you need right now. Cold foods won't affect you, the baby, or your milk supply. Search La Leche league for more answers from women who have successfully breast-fed.

Maybe...
No. There is nothing in ice cream that is bad for lactating mothers. Anything cold that goes into your body is warmed quickly due to your body temp being 98 degrees. Have some ice cream if you want it.
absoleutely not. beer? bad. drugs? bad for some babies even onions, caffeen garlic or broccoli will make them gassy and crabby.but if it is ice cream that you have eaten and the baby gets fussy 8-12 hours later, it is probably the lactose, or dairy in it being secreted into the milk and baby is having issues with that. try no dairy for mom for 48 hours. if fussy goes, it was the milk. go to soy (for mommy, of course, not babe) and mom should maybe try taking a suppliment containing live cultures of acidophillus and biffidoberium lactis (both found in healthy digestive tracts.they keep us from getting gas and indegestion) but make sure it is an acid resistant strain or you are litterally flushing your money down the toilet.
