Bubbly like blisters? If it's something out of the ordinary you should take him to the doctor or at least call the nurse line and ask them. My son had empitago ( sorry I don't know how to spell that) when he was a baby he needed antibiotic. It was yellow and crusty though. I think it started as a bug bite.

I agree with Liz - it's probably impetigo, and can be cured with antibiotics alone.
