with Laser treatment.
It is costly and painful but not hazardous.
sandpaper. very painful. or cut it out with a knife.
You will probably have to get it professionally removed. Cost some money, but if you really want it gone. That's why I will never get a tattoo
laser, that's the only way.

Laser treatments are the only way I have heard.
Expensive, time-consuming (usually takes a series of laser treatments) and painful.
But, I do not think the removal is a health hazard.
You can not "erase" a tattoo. You can have it removed. It is very painful, more painful than getting the tattoo, costs a lot of money, takes several sessions, and takes a long time to heal. If you want to go through all that, go for it. I'd rather keep mine, lol. Good luck! You can search hospitals and clinics on the internet to see which one's remove them, so you can find the best price. My friend is getting hers removed for like 300 or 500, something like that. It's the cheapest I've ever heard.
the cheapest way would be have the tattoo artist tattoo over it with the same pigment of your skin. cheap.
laser surgery. It is costly, and you have to go in multiple sessions. There is risk of leaving a scar. Not painful as it is uncomforatble, but a cream like emla numbs the skin. The laser targets the pigmented skin. To do this you cannot be tanned, or it is less effective. you can also have another tattoo put over your current one. But everything depends on colour and size, and location.
you cant do it by your self, you need to go to a tattoo shop where they have the tools and have them remove it,but they will charge you.
Two methods: the first is dermabrasion, done under sterile conditions by a surgical team. The other is newer, and some find it much more pleasant and effective, and that's to have a dermatologist (who'd also direct the surgical proceedure if that were the choice) remove it with a laser. Either method takes some time, and each can be expensive. Suggestion: think about that before you decide to get some body art. People change, and I've known not a few guys and gals who wish they had not gotten those tattoos years ago when they were young and foolish (their terms, not mine)
Use a laser or cut it out. Some say a medical sander would be effective. The effects of these three and hazards are obvious. When I was a young boy the Mexicans in Ft Worth thought milk would take it out. That was over half a century ago - way over.
The only way to remove a tattoo is with laser, which is expensive. If You like tattoos, but you want to get rid of one for personal reasons I would recommend getting a cover up (another tattoo over the old one), which might cost you less than the laser treatment.
Only 2 ways I know of is by surgical removal or laser. I had a small one removed by knife many years ago. A larger one would require skin graft, & takes much time & pain. Using modern ways is faster & easier, less painful. But , I hear it can get quite hot on the site as the ink is burned out & a bit painful. There are some clinics that will remove for free, but you have to trade some time in doing public works. Not a bad idea! Try telephone book, or newspapers, & the throw aways.
I'd go with a laser.. but why get one in the first place if you're not certain you'll want it for the rest of your life? Unless of course you were drunk. Laser surgery isn't always 100% effective, the age of the tat can make a difference.
I know of a painful but cheaper method, wet a clean rag, dip it in salt and rub rub rub. continue until you either pass out from the pain or the tat (along with the top 2 layers of skin) are gone. Of course, you can get a serious infection and have to have the area amputated but hey! at least the tattoo is gone :) (not to mention it leaves a nasty looking scar).
Seriously, I know someone who removed a tattoo from her arm doing this but I wouldn't recommend it.. hopefully you know better then to try something like this.
