I can't sleep.?!


Question: DOES ANYONE HAVE HELP FOR ME. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE PILLS.

Is it a side effect of any medication you are taking? They never told me about this being a side effect, and now I am a 10-year insomniac. Otherwise, take the pills. It's a short-term solution, not expensive, and safe. Talk to your doctor. Taking pills is not some awful thing. Not when you do it when you need to. Haven't you ever taken penicillin, tylenol, robitussin?

Try drinking a cup of chamomile or some other form of relaxing hot tea. Once you de-stress, maybe it'll be easier to get to sleep.
If your sleep pattern is disturbed for more than three months see a doctor. Change your diet,less sugar,less carbs and avoid caffeine.Stay away from anything with asparmine in it! Exercise will help even if it is just walking. Go outside in the fresh air for at least one hour a day. longer if you can.
Try nighttime teas and other herbal teas,since I don't know what you like read the labels to see what is calming. Use scents that calm you lavender,vanilla whatever is calming to you. Use calming colors in your decorating.Your environment can cause you not to sleep.
Try a hot shower just before you go to bed.
I hope you find things that will work for you.
You obviously have pent-up energy you need to put to good use. Then you'll sleep really well.
