how to motivate urself to hit the gym everyday?!

One motivation that always helped me was that the best workouts you'll ever have are the ones you didn't want to go to initially. In other words, if you work out despite using whatever excuse not to do it, then you will reap more benefits, including personal satisfaction.

By the way, it's ok to miss an occasional workout. One thing you may want to try is to build up to going every day, if going every day is your goal. You can start with a smaller, more reachable goal, and gradually increase the level once you achieve the smaller goal. For example, you may want to se a goal for the first month of going to the gym at least 12 days out of the month, and if you make 12 days (or more), then you may increase your goal by a few days the next month.

tell your self its for your own well being and if that doesnt work tell your self you might meet someone hot there.thats what works for me
Try to find a workout partner, that way another person will be depending on you, it will motivate you. I think. It does for me.

Put up a picture of a fat person, so you'll know you don't want to look like that.
I think oF how HOT I will like at the pool this summer all nice and toned. I think oF how wowed my boyFriend will be when I pull oFF my shirt and reveal a Flat stomach. I think oF.well, you get the point.
Get a friend or a few together and set a regular time every day (or whatever your schedule is). Then stick to it. Pick a time that won't regularly interfere with things and think of it as a college class or something, where you have to be on time. If you have a personal trainer, even better.
force yourself to go, once there you feel obliged to do something work for me 7 days a week
I know, its hard. After struggling for years to maintain motivation to get to the gym, this is what worked for me.

1. Set your standard for success really low. Make it an accomplishment to JUST SHOW UP. Not put in an hour or a half hour or even 15 minutes. Success is just showing up. Touch the door.

2. Tell yourself that you will "just show up" NO MATTER WHAT. That's right make yourself do it "no matter what".

Only after I had these two mindsets, did I make my gym appearances a regular habit.

Good luck!
you know, i'm in the same boat.i say to myself, i look good for just having had a kid, tho'.and yet, i'm not satisfied with my body.
one way that i motivate myself is by using incentives.what i like more than anything is taking pics of my baby girl and printing them out.so my husband and i came up with for every mile i jog or walk, i get $1 towards buying ink or paper or frames.those are three things he will not let me buy unless i've earned it.i can still take all the pics i want, but the want for me to print pics out and frame them up is so great that that is one thing that has motivated me.
find something that you really like or want.prohibit yourself or have someone else prohibit you from having it unless you earn it by walking a mile or more a day or jogging or running.or for one hour of excercise at the gym.when you have an incentive, it motivates you more.
what my sister-in-law did was for every five pounds she lost, her husband let her buy any piece of clothing she wanted.so find someone who will hold you accountable and a really good incentive and you'll find yourself excercising in no time.
another thing that helps me more is by having the excercising machines at home.it's hard to find time to go out.if you can afford something like a treadmill or ablounge or something like that.you'll find it easier to excercise at home than try to find time to go out.
Look at yourself in the mirror.naked! Go ahead LOOK; your HIDEOUS. :)
- set goal(s). eg, how many times a week, how much weight you want to lose.and by when. etc etc

- find a workout partner who's not going to be as lazy as you.

- get a calendar.. mark your workout dates, what you did for that workout, what you ate, how much sleep you got the day before.

remember, getting to the gym is harder than the actual workout. (i know so, i suffer from the same (de)motivation)

i'm a runner. and i try to run at different parks to motivate myself. it's hard to find running partners cos we're all so dang busy, but it's worth it. and oh by the way, this workout thing can't be a 1-off thing, it's gotta be a lifestyle thing.
I motivate myself by seeing the benefits with working out muscle mass, fat loss, live longer, stay healthier. I know this it isn't easy getting up and going to the gym so you might want to play a good song that motivates like Eye of the Tiger
