Can anybody help me find addresses of importers of Cordyceps sinensis in America!

Question: Cordyceps Sinensis, a plant of the ergot family, is a traditional and precious dried Chineses medicinal herb belonging to the fungus category. It was highly recommended by ancient medical practitioners as the most effective cure for all illness. Owing to the herb's high efficacy and potency in curing various diseases, it is well-known as an important nourishing tonic. However, as the sourcing and gathering of the herb is rare and difficult, so its supply often falls short of demand.

It regulates and ensures the normal functioning of various parts of the body, strengthens the immune system and promotes overall vitality and longevity.
Answers:
The botanical name I usually see is 'Cordyceps mycelium' and I think that is a tamed strain of Cordyceps sinensis, which grows wild. Here are some companies that offer Cordyceps, or Dong Chong Xia Cao. You will have to clarify the botanical name with them.

A highly respected company that specializes in mushroom extracts is MycoHerb. They do some impressive work with mushrooms, offering them alone or in mushroom formulae. A distributor for them is Kan Herb Company.

You may want to try May Way Herbs, they are very reputable importers, based in California and importing from China and Taiwan.

The largest seller of Chinese herbs is Crane Herbs, and they offer a broad product range to practitioners.

A very good Japanese herbal company (Kampo) is Honso USA, importing from Japan (I am not sure if they sell the herb you are looking for).

Others that sell Cordyceps include, Spring Wind Herbs, Health Concerns and KPC Herbs.

I have included direct links for some of the places I mention, and Acupuncture.edu's resource page will link to the rest. Addresses can be retrieved from their websites.
