Watch your calorie intake. Cut out sodas and don't drink lemonade or fruit punch, either. If it's hard for you to go without soda, have just one of those little cans, they're 8 ounces and 100 calories, that's what I drink when I really want a soda, but never more then one a day. Drink lots of water instead. I keep my calorie intake at 1500 a day, and I've lost 24 pounds so far. Snack on small servings of fruit and plenty of vegetables and lean meat. Watch your portion sizes, too. I weigh everything that I eat, it's not that hard. On my breaks at work I go for walks, or I'll run up and down the stairs for 10-20 minutes. There is plenty of exercises to do that don't involve the gym, I don't go to the gym. Try brisk walking, roller blading, biking, swimming (if you have access to a pool), exercise videos (the Biggest Loser one is my favorite, I got it off Ebay for $15, it's actually fun and a great workout, it helped me get out of a "plateau"). Exercise can be fun and it's a great stress reliever.

i did this and i lost alot of weight (with no excersise)
eat a lot of apples and broccoli..food with low-carbs will also help. you should consider doing some yoga or pilates if you hate running..and all you need is a yoga mat and find a comfortable place with some soft music..some people think yoga doesn't help in weight loss but that's so wrong..i've been a fan of yoga for 2 years and it helped me to lose over 20 lbs in the past :]
