I have a sticky substance on the walls of my spa. What caused it and how do I g!

Question: After a weekly water tratment, I noticed a sticky foam build up on the walls of my hot tub.
Answers:
Dump your water, scrub the hell out of your spa, replace filters.

Now, for next time: follow the instructions from your manual and shower before you get in the spa, this will reduce the amount of oils you release into your spa.

also, contact your local spa dealer and get a new treatment schedule. There are also products designed to reduce/eliminate cloudyness/foam, check them out. Might also want to switch chemicals, if your using chlorine, might want to try Bromine, see if that helps, but definately contact your dealer, and make sure to keep oils/dirt/food/sex out of your spa

Other Answers:
it might have been from a residue or a similar matter. you might want to clean it with a spray that cleans on surfaces and walls and use a sponge or towel to get it up after you spray hope this helps
Stop having sex in the spa.
Try using a defoaming agent for spas.
You can also try draining and cleaning it out.
