What is the best way to lose weight?!

Question: i'm 13, 5'1, and about 100 pounds. any ideas on how to lose a bit of that flab but not become an ana?
Answers:
Some body types naturally have slightly more flab than those portrayed on tv or in magazines. If you want to improve you appearance, though, it doesn't sound like you need to lose weight. You can improve your muscle toning by doing yoga or most any exercise you like. I like to do shadow boxing.

Other Answers:
Don't eat after 5pm and eat starches in the morning
exercise.. balanced diet..

Exercise and diet.
Eat fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean protein. Cardio exercise for about 30-40 min at least every other day and lift weights on the alternating days. There are no quick fixes.

eat once a day. breakfast works best.
Eating correctly and exercising are the best ways to lose fat and STAY in shape.
working out and watching your carbs
I joined weight watchers and lost 20 lbs in three weeks.
LOTS of water, exercise, eat less.
Don't drink too much water. (You'll flush out your system) That can make you feel weak, and cause you to stop working out early. Drink when your thirsty. Bottom line. Eat fruit, vegetables, whole grains. Stay away from sugar-loaded things and things with high fat content. (whole milk, beef, pasta, etc.) Eat healthy, eat normal, and exersize. Walk, jog, run. Sports encourage people better.
DON'T eat junk food. Vetgetable is the BEST and excercise every evening that make you loose your calories and make you sleep very WELL!
It sounds like you want to lose fat, and not necessarily weight. As you might be aware, there are many ads for loosing fat and probably most of them are not worth your time (or money). The best way to do this is simply by exercising 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes. Running burns the most calories and will also build your abdominals. Running in conjuction with weight lifting will also benefit the loss of fat since muscle is the major burner of fat.
Eating well is must. You should eat after each work out and have a healthy and hearty breakfast. It's recommended to eat 6 small meals as opposed to three large meals. This is to keep the metabolism (essentially rate at which you burn calories) going and for you not to feel hungry at any time.
Rest is the other required ingredient for a healthy and fit lifestyle. Your muscles NEED rest after the end of a hardworking day. If the muscles don't get this rest, they will not build quickly, you'll feel drained, and you will not lose any fat.
At your age I wouldn't concern yourself with weightlifting. All types of cardio are great, though, and will set your metabolism for the rest of your life.
Hope this helps
WHAT to eat for losing weight

• Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially NC (negative calorie) food.

* Print these lists. They will be your . "Bible", from now on !
* Dill and parsely - include them in all your salads. Also ognion + garlic.
* Try eat mostly fresh vegs & fruits (whenever possible, of course)
* If you really want a book, then check this out: The Negative Calorie Diet Workbook & Cookbook - eBook (Win95/98 only). Read more about this e-book here.

• Eat fish, chicken, beef, pork. (preferences are in this order)

* If you are a vegetarian, then ignore this!
* Avoid fat meat

• Eat 2-3 slices of bread/day. Don't EVER exclude bread from your diet!

• Snacks between meals (if needed): apples, oranges, grepfruits and other NC fruits

* Don't cheat . NO cookies, chips, candies, brownies etc!
* EVEN if they have "low fat" indication. They might have low fat, yet they can have lots of CALORIES !

• About rice, potatoes, beans, [xxx]nuts, pastry, pasta. you know!

* Don't eat too much of those, at least during the first weeks of the diet. I'm not a low carb addict, but I've noticed weight gains if consuming those in large quantities, especially when associated with other foods.
* If you like them a lot, try and eat them like one meal. A nice delicious plate of spaghetti could be your lunch (never dinner!), followed by a nice big apple. These rich starch foods are not good for dinner!
* At dinner time, chose mainly large mixed veggies salads. with fish, lean meat or cheese (if you are not a vegetarian).
