If I'm ten should I weigh over 93 pounds?!


Question: because my sister is 11 and she weighs 112 pounds.
I have always been smaller then her and she's 11.I'm getting a little worried about it.

It doesn't matter. it depends on your height. When i was ten, i weighed 52 pounds. now i'm 92 pounds.
No,not really,but if U don't want 2 get really really big all U half 2 do is not eat tons of junk food and go outside.

It shouldn't matter how much your sister ways compared to you because your only 10 and she's 11 and you still got a long way to go. It also has to do with if you play any sports or do you just sit around and do nothing. Do you eat healthy or not. If she just sits around and does nothing then that might be a reason. Plus the difference between 112 and 93 isn't much at all!

If you're big enough, then 93 pounds is okay. When I was "little," I was actually really big, so I weighed about 140 pounds at your age. I've always been very tall (now I'm 24, and have only grown 2 more inches since then), so my body was built to carry it.
If you're the right size for your age (or typical or average, or whatever), then I don't think that's too bad.
But if you're worried about it, is it because you're getting fat, or just because you're catching up to your older, bigger sister?
It's really a good idea to get good exercise and make healthy eating choices, especially while you're young. See if your parents would put you in a karate class or something, or join a gymnastics team. Things like that are good for the self-esteem, too :-)
it dont matter how much you weigh as long as you eat right and are healthy. u should ask your doctor because she'll no what you should range by your height, and bone structure!
As long as you're eating healthy foods (along with some snacks of course) and getting some exercise then you don't need to worry about your weight at the age of 10. Your body still has a lot of growing to do and you could definitly grow into your weight. I'm guessing that that's what your sister is doing right now. You might catch up to her but your weight gain could slow down and speed up at any time. You'll be going through all sorts of weird body changes in the next years to come. Don't worry about it honey. Those skinny chicks in all the magazines are not the ideal women to look up to. It's disgusting.
