I just had a sleep study done. How do I get this goop outta my hair?!

Question: This icky stuff they put on your head to attach the electrodes to feels horrible. Any suggestions on products to use when I shampoo, that will make it come out easier?
Answers:
My doctor rubbed some alcohol pads to release them, and clean most of the goop. She said just wash your hair with shampoo and it will get rid of the stuff. It did. I had no problem. I cant remember what kind of shampoo I used. I think any shampoo will do, I think they disolve with soap.
