do you starve a fever or is it feed a cold or is it the opposite?!

Question:
Answers:
you have it right, technically- starve a feever, feed a cold- this was believed years ago, recently though doctors have disagreed with this saying- they say that in either case you should eat light meals 3-5 times a day (nothing heavy) so that you can keep up your strength and make sure to drink lots of liquids- especially gatorade or other sports drinks, etc with electrolytes in them

DROW A FEVER. PLENTY FLUIDS
You shouldn't starve either.
Feed a cold, starve a fever. Although you really don't want to starve anyone who's already sick - that's just mean. :)
The expression was, "Feed a cold, starve a fever". But the deal is that when you're sick, eat something if you get hungry, but don't over do it.
