to be a chiropractor you are techically a doctor- instead of MD, they are DC (doctor of chiropractic) They still have to go through years of school and learn all the biology, anatomy, etc. with rotations and whatnot.. Most of them though believe in the alternative medicine- which is why they go into the field in the first place

Yes. They are. They attend school and receive full certification with a Doctorate. Chiropracty is their specialty. I started going to one 3 years ago with severe next pain. My regular doctor just gave me exercises that made it worse. I am now 99% pain free even with a compressed disc in my neck and no surgery.
