I had the same problem. I just wore ear plugs (the ones that discretely fit in your ear) for a few weeks whenever i went to a club or just walking on the street. It's amazing how peaceful the world is wearing ear plugs.
However this is a serious issue. Go visit a doctor with this one.

You need to go to the doctor if tinnitus is persistent.
it will go away on its own.just wear ear plugs around loud noises.if it happens even when you know you havnt heard anything loud see a docter.you might end up loosing your hearing
Why? Are your ears ringing? Do you listen to music at such a high octave that it creates a ringing sensation? Or, you may have an inner ear infection. Go see a doctor. That is the best way to tell.
