I just started the Abs Diet. Seems to be working.
In my opinion, it's Weight Watchers.
Of all the programs I have learned of, only Weight Watchers relies exclusively on a meal plan that can consist of everyday foods. While they offer a number of items that can help, none are required.
Weight Watchers is also easily the most "real-world" plan. Their "points" system uses a formula that puts a numerical value on all foods, and a daily points limit to consume. It allows you to freely to choose what to eat, but be mindful of the "cost" of those foods. It's a powerful motivator to seek out more nutritious foods that fill you without "costing" you.
It's also a plan that recognizes that slow and steady weight loss based on more nutrition and fewer calories is the only way to be permanently successful. It also incorporates activity as a part of their overall program to emphasize the benefits of exercise.
Finally, Weight Watchers is very reasonably priced compared to most programs. It's designed to be pay-as-you-go, and there are no "surprises".
There are a lot of methods that advocate weight loss, but only one that my doctor continues to recommend to his patients. It's the same one I recommend to you.
