If yes, I would advise you to stay away from the pool if it's open to the public. If it's your private pool, I don't see what the prob would be.
Be careful though, if your shingles is open.you don't want to get this in youe eyes!

The chlorine couldn't possibly be good for any irritatable skin condition. Viral included.
Take in effect what Amanda said about the chlorine may help but also remember that shingles is related to the chicken pox. If u swim at a public pool u may want to consult a Dr b4 doing so.
