I need help now, PLEASE?!

Question: I can't go to sleep at nights, but when I do, I can't wake up. I set my alarm for 8 am and when it goes of, I wake up, and push the snooze button. I lay in bed, and my eyes feel so so so so heavy and very dry, I decide to take 5 more minutes, by the time I finally get up its 11 am, 12, and even 1 pm. I don't do it on purpose, I am actually fed up with it. You can tell because I am looking for an answer here, I am desperate, I need to know what is wrong with me.

I've had this problem on occasion. What I would attempt to do is not go to sleep on night..make sure its on a day that you arnt going to work/school or have anything really important to do. Drink coffee or something so you can stay up until a reasonable time 9 or 10pm and then crash. Make sure you set your alarm for in the morning. This can often get you back onto a night time sleep schedule. This is what my BF has to do when they switch him from days to night at work or back again.

go see a doctor
I think that you are sleeping too late at night and your body clock hasn't adjust to a normal sleeping pattern. Try to sleep at a set time each night and when you hear your alarm, don't let yourself press the snooze.
Maybe going to bed earlier might help, but i do the same thing and not a teen
Are you depressed? What you described sounds like one of the symptoms. If not then make sure you get up early one morning, tire yourself out through the day and get an early night. You should be able to get up early again and get into a good routine that way. if you are depressed you need to see your doctor
In my personal opinion I think you should see a doctor. They can help you better.
Try having either a hot bath or shower before you get in bed, so that you are nice and relaxed, and in the morning when the alarm goes off in the morning, jump straight up and in the shower.
Works for me :-D
You are probably stressed or drinking too much caffiene.
Too much Internet and computer at all...
I see TV show when they say - much time on computer can get that symptoms you describe. If you have that problem too long (about a week or longer) go to doctor and he/she know what to do...

Me,Tv and etc.
try cutting down on fatty foods and caffine intake (tea, coffee, chocolate and Coke etc)

Eat well during the day and do some gentle excercise around 5 pm if you can.

Have a nice milky drink perhaps a malt drink (not whiskey or alcohol!) wind down in a nice bubble bath.

Make sure you don't have any lights and don't have the TV on in your bedroom. that way your body associates your bedroom with sleep.

As for your alarm set your alarm a little earlier perhaps 6.30 that way you will wake up again around 8, just on time!
Make arrangements to wake at 7:30,
Take a hot shower, go walking/jogging.
There could be any of numerous issues going on ranging from delayed sleep phase syndrome to sleep apnea. The best thing to do is have your primary doctor refer you to a sleep specialist. It is important to see a specialist as diagnosing sleep issues can be difficult, and your typical general physician does not have the training to properly diagnose the potential issues. A specialist may be able to recommend a solution, or schedule to have you stay overnight at a clinic and go through a sleep study, where they will attach sensors to your body and monitor what is going on while you sleep.
just a sleeping disorder go c a doctor i have to same problem well actually had the same problem. but i got over it.
we hv a blood circulatory massager machine it can help u it can help u cures nearly 30 diseases and disorders insomonia diabetes weight loss it removes toxins and pollutants its amassager complete body many more
Don't burn midnight oil. Just sleep up to 9.00 PM every night, you will not need even the alarm clock.
Definately see your doctor. He/she should be able to help you "re-train" your body's sleep pattern. I took a sleep aid every night at 9:00pm for 2 weeks, then gradually stopped taking them until I was asleep by 11:00pm every night. It took about 4 weeks to get back into a good sleep pattern, but it was successful.

Also, is there anything you're thinking about or stressing over that keeps you awake? If so, address it so you're not laying there all night thinking about it.

personal experience.
maybe you could dismantle the snooze button, thus you have to wake up to take out the battery, after did all of these, you'll never feel asleep
you have some form of depression. Please see a doctor ASAP.
First thing you gotta do is do some exercises ok? just do some stationary jogging whenever you can. u didn't add how old are u, anyway bout the alarm clock please place it on a table far from u so u would have to get up and turn it off. Are u feeling tired all the time? do regular exercises, jogging is the best.. if your neighborhood is dangerous or not good for jogging just jog in your room,do some stretching too. do this once you get up. you'll feel like **** on the first day of exercise and if u want to feel better, u'll have to exercise more.. everything is up to your self motivation. no amount of advice will rid you of this.. its all in your hands.. even if i tell you what to do if you wont do it, nothing can help you. try going to a yoga or taebo class, if u dont have the money then just rent some CDs on the subject. read some diet books too. put some cucumber on those tired eyes.. go for a body spa.
What time do you actually go to bed? A body needs between 7 to 9 hrs of sleep. If you have been doing this awhile you internal clock is set that way and depending upon your age may be hard to reset. Younger is easier. At least an hour before you attempt to sleep you should work out or partake in some form of physical exertion to make the body physically tired. Lower the lighting or turn them off and light a candle, this will help trigger your natural sleep cycle. Drink some milk or eat turkey (natural sleep inducers) during this hour before bed. when you go to bed lie there and be still even if not sleeping. Do these things religiously and you will sleep and reset your clock. At that point getting to sleep will become easier.
i have seen a doctor for very similar symptoms. meds work while your working on this problem. talk to someone with similar symptoms. Anxiety, depression, various sleep disorders. IM me if you wish to.
nothing wrong with you just change your life style do meditation and some exercises including 20 min brisk walk in evening and wash your hand and feet with cold water before sleep
and see miracle in a weak
