Has anyone had or is currently using invisalign braces?!
Question: I'm looking into getting them and would like to find out if they are worth the extra cost and what people think of them.

Yes I am half way through my treatment. Total of 30 sets of aligners, and I wear each set for 2 weeks. You have to take them off when you eat or drink anything other than water to prevent staining. When you first start a new set it is a little painful, but only lasts for a day or two. it means that your teeth are moving. It takes some getting use to in the beginning, and your tounge will feel the aligner on the back side of your teeth.
I had regular metal braces when I was a kid (25 yrs ago), and really couldn't see myself wearing metal braces at my age.
One piece of advice, whatever you do (metal or plastic) wear your retainers so you don't have to get braces again later in life!

i did mine were so invisible that when i took them off i missed placed them
i don't suggest using them, because you have to take them off constantly, which puts you in a lot of pain. just go for old fashion metal braces. i find them to be better.

Not me! I saw the huge packages of teeth whitening stuff at the store & it had bonus clear braces. Why spend a few thou when one can instead spend $30 or so?
