what causes migraine headaches?!

Question:
Answers:
so many things cause migraines and it's different for every one. stress, not drinking enough water, too much alcohol, not enough sleep, not eating regularly, some food triggers migraines too, like chocolates and tempeh, and exercising for too hard. if u have migraines, you should start taking notes of what you might've eaten that day or maybe there's something that caused a lot of stress for you that day or something. that way you can avoid it. there's really no cure for migraines, best thing to do is to prevent! i know because i have migraines too =(

migraine (mī'grān) , headache characterized by recurrent attacks of severe pain, usually on one side of the head. It may be preceded by flashes or spots before the eyes or a ringing in the ears, and accompanied by double vision, nausea, vomiting, or dizziness. The attacks vary in frequency from daily occurrences to one every few years.
Migraine affects women three times as often as men and is frequently inherited. Many disturbances, such as allergy, temporary swelling of the brain, and endocrine disturbances, have been suspected of causing some varieties of the disorder. Although the exact cause is unknown, evidence suggests a genetically transmitted functional disturbance of cranial circulation. The pain is believed to be associated with constriction followed by dilation of blood vessels leading to and within the brain.

I think that migraine head aches comes from being stressed.
Migraines run in families, and a genetic link has been identified. However, it is not entirely clear why some people get migraines and others do not. While the cause of migraines is not well understood, it seems to involve widening and narrowing of the blood vessels in the brain, which triggers changes in brain chemicals, inflammation, and pain.

Headaches are caused by not knowing the truth!
Life is not someone who is here and now living but when you die in the flesh and then you will have life. CHRIST IS LIFE!
All migraine sufferers should have tests done to rule out anything serious or life threatening (MRI) / I suffered migraine headaches for months, went to the emergency room after having one for 3 days and was diagnosed with 2 brain aneurysms, one which had ruptured. I was rushed to Harper University Hospital, had open brain surgery, & was very, very, fortunate to survive. My father had a brain aneurysm, my Aunt on my mother's side. My sister was diagnosed with a large aneurysm soon after my surgery (she had no symptoms at all) Hers was caught early before it ruptured. She was back to work 2 weeks after her procedure. I had to recover for 3 months before going back to work & normal activities. Dr. Richard Fessler @ Harper Hospital saved both our lives. Our whole immediate family have had tests done since then, & will have our children tested. I truly believe this is Hereditary. I'm not trying to scare anyone. Better safe than sorry.
