The best way to lose weight is to excercise each day and eat nutritional meals with low calories.
Exersie and get a strict diet no one want to see you this way dont eat junk food all instead of eating of siting walk run jog for a hour it really works
A balanced diet and keep moving around. Thats it.
Control your portion sizes and ensure that you are eating according to the food guide or the food pyramid. Healthy and nutritional food, and avoid the fad diets.
You have to be committed. And I don't think it sounds like you want to commit to losing weight. I know people that weigh that much, and after a year they finally start losing weight, but it takes a long time, well at least to do it the right way.
Work out, and stop eating so much. This is a lifestyle change. Change your lifestyle. Burn the calories. Push back from the table.
You should never take a pill or have some crazy surgery to loose weight. Start exercising - just walk around a park or your neighborhood until you build up your stamina. Then you can get more aggressive and do more. Try using weights. Also, Windsor Pilates really does work! And of course, eat healthy meals and don't overdo it. Good luck!
There are several ways to lose weight. There are diets, excercise plans, and dietary supplements (pills). There are also some questions to ask yourself:

How much time do I really have to exercise?
How many meals do I eat, and how often?
Are there any physical factors that affect my metabolism?

My wife suffers from a thyroid disease, and it has a lot to do with weight loss and retention. I have the gift of a high metabolism, so a little physical work or workouts usually have the best effect for me.If you don't have time, maybe a slight diet change, and supplements (with or without thyroid support) might show better results.
Get a small dinner plate and use it to eat your morning and evening meals from. Only 1 helping. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to ease the hunger you feel if any. Eat low carbohydrates. and go walking regular, Morning and evening at least 2-4 miles. This will make you feel good and lose weight with out it feeling like torture.

First of all you have to be mentally into losing weight because if you cant put your own mid to it no on e else will. Then you have to start you own diet that will help keep you satisfied but also healthy. A good hour of exercise will do but start slow, don't push your self. GOOD LUCK

The first step is admitting you have a weight problem, which you've done. Congratulations. Secondly, by writing..it appears you have the will to take action on this. My friends who have had the most success in losing and keeping weight off have gone to Overeaters Anonymous. It is FREE, and it also gives gifts FAR BEYOND that of just looking better and being healthier. You will be with people who TOTALLY get what you are going through, and you will most likely feel right at home. If you stick with it, you will probably find friends that you can't imagine life without. Good Luck to you! If you can't find Overeater's Anonymous.Call your local Alcoholics Anonymous Office (call information) and they usually have the number for ALL of the Anonymous programs. Or I found a link that might be helpful for you. It's www.oa.org/index.htm. Or just google Overeaters Anonymous. (OA for short..although I doubt that google will recognize this.) For anyone reading this answer, OA is also for people who are anorexic. While not the norm, any eating issue which is making one's life feel out of control is be addressed in this wonderful program. The 12 steps really do work. I promise you. I'm in AA, and thankfully sober many years, but it's the same obsessional thinking, I understand that. Wishing you all the Best! Jen
join a gym and eat right, it will pay off.
