How can you trust a therapist when you tell him/her your problems?!

Question: What if they're just sitting there putting in time like any other person in the work force?
Answers:
THere are laws and pollocies that state that a therapist must keep what they have comfidential with some exeptions, such as you fear your patient will kil/hurtl you. It's like a journalist that wont give their info to the government for comfidentiality reasons

Other Answers:
You have to. Because they take oath and you have no other choice but to trust them.

You have to trust your lawyer and chartered accountants too, the same way.
They have a license to be a therapist, same sorta thing as doctors. Not only that but as the beginning of the sessions they have you sign a contract. If they break the contract they lose their license, break the law, and are at risk of being sued.
Sometimes it takes time to find a therapist you can feel comfortable with. They are trained professionals there to help you with your problems and it's illegal for them to discuss your issues with anyone other than who you give them permission to.
Some really do suck and they can royaly screw you over. But others are really good at what they do and can help you overcome your issues. Any psycho can become a therapist. I know a few people who really should not be doing what they're doing. They're fruitier than pebbles cereal. But you have to take a chance and trust someone. If you find that it's not working out then just find someone else. But you have to trust. That's just life.
tell them the truth dont hide anything and hope u can figure out how to deal
