I'm on Loestrin 1.5 and just spotted bleeding for a few days and cramping. Why i!

Question: This will happen before I am scheduled to start my period.
Answers:
Loestrin is actually the lowest dose of Birth control that i know of, if you have spotting, this is normal, even though they say that this is supposed to regulate you periods, but ask your OBGYN if he/she can maybe put you on a high dose of Loestrin, or even a different brand of birth control, I used to take Loestrin and I don't mean to scare you but I got pregnant on it twice, and that just was not cool to me! So I upped it as much as I could and I was taking Ortho-TriCyline which is a really high dose of hormones, and it sent my body in a whirlwind, so now, i haven't done it yet, but now I want to get on a lower dose but not a high dose, it will keep my periods regulated, my acne will subside, and my cramps will almost be virtually illiminated. Good luck hope this helps.

oh, PS. it is generally normal to spot just before your period, your endometrian lining (uterine lining)sometimes gets too full of tissue that it will release it before hand

Other Answers:
Break throug bleeding is common with birth control pills, give you GYN a call and ask to speak with the nurse she can help you figure out if this is ok for you or if you need your birth control changed
LM, RN (OBGYN)
go to the doctor and ask about that
Please consult your doctor..
