When I was a baby i didn't start really talking until I was 3!
In india they start uttering words like mom dad when they are average 13 months or so.. and start making some humby jumby sentences when they are around 15 months..

Sweety you should talk to the babies doctor. It is very normal for a baby to talk after he or she is two. The best thing you can do is talk to him or her as much as you can and read to the baby every night.
This is the normal process of how a baby learns to talk.
5 months - babbles (eg baba, dada)
12 months - a few single words
2 years - 2-word sentences
If a baby is not talking at 27 months, you should bring the child to the doctor. It may be a normal developmental delay, which the child may catch up soon or he has a hearing problem or it may something else. Seek help asap.
