Yes it is a daily struggle. I think that it is a determination and willpower issue. I have fluctuated back and forth from skinny skinny to FAT. I got fat when I didn't try and just gave up. You get out what you put in, plain and simple.

The cure for being overweight is 20-40 minutes daily of moderate-hard physical exercise. Cardio and whole-body weight routine. If you do this, much lighter dieting will produce weight loss.
We have modernized physical work out of our lives, especially long distance walks. Our way of life is the cause of our poor health.
I used to be overweight about 7 or 8 years ago and then I lost 140 lbs. It was great. Yes, there's hope.

Yes there is most definitely hope! I lost 115 pounds and the whole key was finding exactly what worked for ME. I had tried everything and I just kept gaining the weight back every time I lost. Once I realized that the ONLY way it would work is to NOT starve myself, but to eat lots of healthy foods all day long and cut out almost all junk. Then I got myself up off the couch and started MOVING on a daily basis with all kinds of different exercises. Now I'm actually under my goal weight and I love exercising and I love the foods I eat, and I can eat whenever I'm hungry because I choose the right kinds of foods! It was definitely a struggle to finally accept that there was no "easy fix" and to take the initiative get started on my new lifestyle, but after the first couple of months it started getting easier every day to the point that now it's all just habit and I never feel deprived or hungry and I look forward to my workouts. At age 35 I have more energy than I have ever had in my life and I feel great. I used to be a real couch potato so I know that if I can do it, anybody can do it.it's just a matter of figuring out what works and sticking to it until it's not a struggle anymore.
There is plenty of hope. You know, even highly trained athelets must continue to exercise and diet correctly each and every day to maintain their conditions.

Just focus on a proper diet (Not the fad diets you will likely look too) and get the gym. You do not need to exercise intensly but a good moderate program is a must. You should do a minimul of some form of cario at least 3 time a week between 30 and 45 minutes (20 is ok but do at least 30 for results). Also do some form of resistance training.

The combination of Cardio, diet and resistance training is the most effective way to attain whatever goal you may have.
