Big eyes+eye makeup= disaster!?!
Question: OMG! OK, I'm a seventh grader (a girl), and I have really big eyes. Obviously, eye liner looks HORRIBLE on me. Not even a Goth (steiotypically speaking) would wear eyeliner with these eyes. Then, eye shadows and such look horrible too. Plus, my eyelashes are medium sized, but if I put on mascara, they look UGLY! Then, mom says NO blush and such. So, how can I enhance my eyes, but not look bad? I mean, I would look so nice with those pretty, eye-makeuped eyes, but my eyes look bad, even with barely any liner and mascara! Help me.PLEASE! In my middle school, neither you look beautiful, or your doomed! Oh yeah, I have some acne, like scatered spots.not too noticable, but still kinda bad.HELP!

If you use a very light eyeshadow it will make you're eyes look bigger. Try a silver or light gold, which will make you look made up without much fuss. But don't worry too much about make-up. You're young, and look great naturally.

Just give it time, no one looks their best in middle school.
Next time you go to the mall, go up to one of the girls at the cosmetic counter and ask her to help you out (try the Clinique counter). You might find someone nice who's willing to help you out. Since they do facials and stuff, they get guidance about how to apply makeup. Someone might be able to give you some great advice to make those pretty eyes beautiful.

yea I have really big eyes and I can't wear shadow or eyeliner. But my eyes look beautiful without it. I also have thick black lashes hehehe
really? big eyes can handle make up. if its that bad, use other types of makeup to distract from your eyes. try lip gloss, parents tend to be okay with that if you call it chapstick. also maybe wear jewelry and other things to distract from your eyes.
There's no such thing as eyes that are too big! But, if you're self-conscious, go with a shadow that's close to your eye color. This will make your eyes less conspicuous. I would stay away from eyeliner and mascara altogether.
Makeup won't make you "beautiful". In order to be beautiful, you have to BELIEVE it. Makeup will only enhance that beauty. People your age don't need make up, and you should take advantage of that. If you want to change up the colors, be sure you know how to compliment your natural features with make up. You probably feel that eyeliner and eyeshadow look "terrible" on you because you aren't applying them correctly. These types of things are applied in different ways, depending on your eye shape and size.

i think you are too young for make up, just wear lip gloss.
Why not skip the liner, use a soft shade over the lid and for some glamour add a slight dark colour to the rim, or a lighter shade to the inner eye. Try using just a soft slick of mascara to the top lash only not the bottom ones because that looks too skanky. Also with the blush thing, why not dab a little of your lip gloss or lipstick to the apples of your cheeks not too much just a little. And for your pimples - the more you play with them, the worse they become. So just wash your face with a little body soap at night and dont use any oily products on your skin - SPF sunscreen is ok. ALWAYS wash any make up off your face too, because that will make the pimples really bad! BTW, I would kill for your eyes and lashes! Good Luck

I have huge browm eyes, like REALLY big brown eyes, and I wear eyeliner ever day, it's thick usually. I think eyeliner makes your eyes look bigger and prettier. It probably doesn't look bad on you. You are in 7th grade, try not to worry about it.
i have really big eyes too, but i use an eye shadow thats alittle darker than my skin tone and i just curl my eyelashes.for big eyes i suggest you dont put so much makeup on.
