What is bone contusions of acetabulum and femoral head?!

Question:
Answers:
In general a contusion of bone is a mechanical injury usually resulting in some bleeding. Perhaps you injured your hip and that was the diagnosis. The acetabulum is the hip socket located on your pelvic bone and the femoral head is the ball on the top of your femur that fits in to the acetabular socket to form the hip ball and socket joint.

wow, big words, you sure do know your vocabulary
In non-medical terms, it is knee bone bruise.
A bruised hip usually nothing to worry about
Just a bruise really.the acetabulum is the part of your pelvis that your femoral head (the end of ur thigh bone) sits in. Usually when u have a hip contusion there its from the femoral head jamming into the acetabulum.and the bones bruise.should be fine.although rarely contusions can be misdiagnosed and are really fractures because it may take a few days to show on an xray
