Strange movements in the night?!

Question: When I am lying in bed and completely chilled out sometimes I make an involuntary jump in bed. My legs will jolt up as if I had a electric shock. What causes this?
Answers:
If you belive in Spiritual world then read on. We all have a soul. When we are asleep sometimes are souls quitely leave our body to meet its near and dear ones. When it makes it return to the body, thats the time you get the electric shock like feeling. Sometimes they need to make speedy entry, so you'll feel a bigger jolt.

when we are disturbed or after a bad day, our souls try to find some condolense by meeting souls of our near and dear ones. And thats exactly why, when you wake up the next morning after a bad day you feel so relaxed coz your soul has had some healing done.

You might have what is referred to as Restless Leg Syndrome, or RLS.

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a sensory disorder causing an almost irresistible urge to move the legs. The urge to move is usually due to unpleasant feelings in the legs that occur when at rest. People with RLS use words such as creeping, crawling, tingling, or burning to describe these feelings. Moving the legs eases the feelings, but only for a while. The unpleasant feelings may also occur in the arms.

Muscle Spasms
well it may be ther chills or it could be a twitch that has to do with a nerve problem, if you tend to notice that your feet or legs fall asleep alot then go to the doctors asap.
Restless Legs Syndrome. Comes from a deficiency in potassium and calcium, among other things. It's treatable, ask your dr. for help. You won't need drugs, just a lifestyle change.
it is from being so tired and your muscles are trying to relax
it sounds like Restless Leg Syndrome (I only wish I was kidding about this.) this is a documented condition and they do make perscription drugs for this. it's true; check it out
i do that right before i go to sleep. kiwi tv is right.
i know when i will be going 'visting' because they (the jumps) get almost so where my entire body jumps.
Its a ghost tickler!
As you drift off to sleep, your muscles are beginning to relax. This spasming is a normal part of the relaxing process.
These are probably muscle spasms due to your body relaxing before falling asleep. It's happened to me too.
