Question:
Answers:
Yes there is.

30-40% of female asthmatics have increased asthma symptoms during the premenstrual and/or menstrual period.

Other Answers:
estrogen affects airway smooth muscle function by preventing the hyperresponsiveness characteristic of asthma and other chronic lung diseases. however these aren't a final findings yet though Christiana Dimitropoulou and her team at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology report that estrogen, as well as selective estrogen receptor modifiers (SERMs), completely abolished abnormal tracheal constriction in a carbachol test. there's alot of test needed to prove this claim and i'm one for sure will wait for it since i am too an asthmatic. I haven't had a serious attack for over a year now since at the start of the smptoms which one is rhinitis and i take immediately antihistamines to prevent the occurrence of an asthma attack.it's a long way process in searching for asthma cure but we are hoping that someday we will arrive at a solid and concrete conclusion to fight asthma attack.
