Answers:
I recently figured out I have bipolar and haven't been to the doctor yet. Can't go till December, that's a story in itself. Anyhow, yea it's probably related. What made me feel better was to get out of the house and do something different. I have 2 kids. So we got a babysitter(g-ma) and me and my husband went out for the night. It really helped.

Bipolar disorder is a medical/phychiatric condition that is affected by brain chemistry. Since hormones are chemicals that trigger different processes in the brain, yes, bipolor disorder can indeed disrupt these processes.
Scientists are still trying to find the link between women and depression and/or bipolor disorder, in that they know our hormones play a much bigger role in these disorders but they haven't put their finger on it yet.
See your doctor, get counceling. A combination approach is usually the more sucessful treatment.
sorry i cant help you..it astonishes me to see the no. of entries in this section that shows how many people go crazy every day, 365 days a year.
Hey there, Something you might want to have checked is your Thyroid levels. They may be bouncing around alot. I think alot of people Dxed with Bipolar are really Hyperthyroid at the time. The symptoms are very similar. Look it up and see if you have the symptoms. If you are hyperthyroid and Not really Bipolar the meds would have little to no effect on your condition.
