facial hair on womens upper lips?!
Question: what causes this,and how do i get rid of it? does hrt make it worse

Androgen cause facial hairs but in women, it's suppressed by female hormone estrogen. Are you hairy all over your face? That could be a sign of Hirsutism. But for minor upper lip hair, just do laser therapy. Don't shave or pluck it.
Addendum: Even females have androgen hormone. It's secreted by the adrenal gland (organ on top of your kidneys) but in small quantities.

Most of us have a 'stash to some degree. I have dark hair so mine really shows. I wax it every few weeks. It hurts for a day but then it's fine.

Genes cause it. If you are a woman, you can get rid of it by shaving or tweezing; for a man, you can find a less hairy gf.
everone has hair on their upper lip. some have more than others. don't shave this haor of, because this wil only make it sore. you can get a facial hair removable from any drug store or a store like wal-mart. its normal. people can't really see it unless you make a big deal of it.
An excess of testosteron can be one of many reasons for hair in places others do not have it. U can shave every day but risk having it come back courser than before and more noticable,,,or u can wax your lip and put up with the pain like I do elsewhere during bikini weather,,,or u can traet it with electrolysis. Just go for permanent laser treatment or threading as a substitute.
