Is head lice common in Texas?!
Question: I have 2 grown kids who never had lice. Since living in TX I know people who have it, or have had it for months at a time. What gives?

Head lice is pretty well common everywhere.
Have had it in NY too, as a kid. I am so suprised people would have it for months at a time though. We had a real struggle when my daughter was in 1st grade- she got them and so did I! (As a single mom with no-one to go through my hair!) Finally got rid of them but she kept getting re-infested at school.
Maybe the heat down there helps the bugs, not sure. Hope you don't have any problems with them. *scratches head- THANKS! :-)

lice is common everywhere. If they have had it months at a time they can go to the doctor, there is a headlice pill for those who can't get rid of it with Rid.
No. They most likely just touched something that had lice! You can get head lice anywhere, Its not limited to just Texas.
I thought that Chuck Norris scared all of the lice out of Texas?
Wherever there are people, there will be head lice. It's common everywhere. It doesn't mean someone is dirty - it simply means they came in contact with someone who had lice. No big deal.
