How can a company maintain customer satisfaction?!


Question: I work in the healthcare setting. My question is based on sustaining our customer satisfaction scores. We have already tried using methods such as: service recovery, employee rewards and recognition, and scripting. I looking for an answer that will involve consistency.

Ask your customers! Just listening to them will make a world of difference. I'm impressed someone in the healthcare field is even asking. Most places I've seen you're treated like you have no choice on healthcare providers.

Consistency means with a smile on your face. No one likes going to any setting, especially health care, and hearing crabby,non appropriate comments. Staff members need to always be aware that people in pain can be not the greatest of character's, but that's why they are there in the first place isn't it.You smile, they smile, they tell their friends, family etc, and there you go.They will come back if that is how they are treated, with dignity and respect, in a holistic manner.Also the biggest complication with staff is organising around their own families. If they know they can get child care etc.and not at exorbitant rates, then they will not leave the industry.

treat your customers like people not numbers, listen to their issues, and answer their questions, by taking the time to do this most people will feel secure and return
