Maybe you can contact the place where the extensions where made at. Or talk to your hair professional or contact a School of learning (beautican School). They might tell you and also tell you how to clean the extensions. I know there has been several types of extensions made. That now you can put the extensions in yourself (SEe Toni Bratti @ HSN.COM). There might be someplace on her products that can help you. But, I think you need to find out what the extensions are made out of first to see if you can put products in them or not. And if you can, find out how to remove since there would be a big build up after a while. Good Luck!

well to be very sure, ask hair experts, but i use hair extensions all the time cos my hair breaks easily in the cold weather and i put hair jelly on them, gel, pink oil everything. i treat them like its my hair just dt i dnt wash them myself.. if u want to wash them go toprofessionals.
whether extensions are real hair or not you can do whatever you do on your own hair with them. Wash them, blow dry them and even put jelly on them. It should not be a problem.
