Why could be the problem with my friend?!

Question: We were watching her do a routine, and all of the sudden she felt really sick, went to the bathroom and starting throwing up the problem is that blood came out with the vomit, is it something really bad? she is 17
Answers:
It depends on the color and amount of blood in the vomit. If it is darker in color, like coffee, then it is most likely from an ulcer in her stomach. If it is bright red, it is from higher up, possibly from the throat. If she is bulemic, it could be a serious problem. When a person vomits purposly, you get stomach acid to come up as well, which eats away at everything it passes over. If it is done constantly, the body doesn't have time to repair the damaged area, thus causing the blood.

Either way, it is not a good thing. Your friend should go to the hospital to have it checked out. It could be nothing, but I wouldn't want to bet a life on it.

She needs to see a doctor.
i think it is bad it might mean that she is bleeding on the inside of her body because when you are internally bleeding you cough of blood so yes it is bad i would advise seeing a doctor and telling them what happened
need to c a doc, ive thrown up blood before but that was due to alchol posioning lol my own fault realy lol
i dont know
..she needs to go to the doctors, like now!
might be an ulcer -see doc
She needs to see a doctor, it could be her lungs or it could be something simple that the doctor can cure.
Good luck to your friend.
She needs to get to a doctor soon! If she is bulemic, then it could be something very serious, but it could be just a nasty virus she picked up somewhere. Take her to the ER if you can, and tell the doc everything. Good luck to both you and your friend!
