I had the same problem. I finally bought an inexpensive fog-free mirror and started shaving in the shower. It is the closest and least irritating shave you can get.

try a differant razor.The cheap throw away ones are no good from the start.
Try using girls shaving cream, and definately use one of the shavers out there with multiple blades! Those things are awesome! Smooth you will be.
Honestly… I would recommend for you to see a dermatologist. It sounds like your skin is dry and sensitive. If you start messing around with different products you might make it worse.
