Yes, I have used Zicam.
Whenever I start to feel a cold coming on, I start to take it, and it never fully develops. I swear by the stuff.

My husband and I use Zicam. They have so many different types of preventions to choose from. We believe that it does help to shorten the cold. Also, we regularly take Airborne. We really trust in that. We take it at the first sniffle, sore throat, or other symptom. Or, we will take it after we have been in a large group, or feel like we have been coughed on, or sneezed on.

Zicam Nasal Gel works really well to ward off oncoming colds! I use it faithfully and when I use it as directed my cold is cut in half easily compared to when I didn't use in the past. I only use the Nasal Gel. Try to keep it in your nose and allow to dry naturally and avoid blowing nose if possible. Might be easier to do at home versus around others as the gel takes about 10 minutes to dry.
