can nerve damage be fixed back to normal?!

Question: I was in a train and car accident. My knee was torn out of socket and the ER popped it back into place. But when the knee was dislocated it caused nerve damage in the side of my lower leg and I now have no feeling in my foot. I was just wondering if I will be able to use that foot again. And have feeling back to it.
Answers:
Nerve damage is reversible when the nerve is still connected (in continuity) and the cause of the damage has been removed. If the damage is substantial it may take some time to get it back to normal. Be patient and don't rush it.

I had a car accident too, in 1997. I now have 100% recovered, and have feeling again in my thumbs. I think it depends on the extent of the damage.
