What is the average amount of calories a 12 year old should consume a day?!
Question: umm i already know where to find how much calories are in each food i eat (nutricion facts), but do you guys know total, how much should a 12 year old (me) consume every day?

Take their weight and multiply by 12. Then take the origional number and multiply by 20. This is the good range for your kid.
Say he weights 100 pounds. He should consume at least 1200 calories a day, but not more then 2000. (less he gain too much weight. If he starts to gain too much weigt, then decrease. If he starts to LOOSE too much weight, increase.)

Your only 12 you don't need to be worring about calories you will have enough to worry about when you get older and alot of it will be what my mum called puppy fat and will go as you get older and become more active.
