The advantages of course are no children and lessens your periods. The disadvantages of the pill are that if you don't take it everyday or you don't take it in the same time frame everyday its like you never took the pill, and of course there's the risk of health problems. I say take the shot There's no periods, but there might be weight gain, but that's something you can control. The side effects is blood clotting among other things but there's a risk with everything. I say if your going to take birth control go with the shot its the most effective.
