I work at least 8 hours a day in front of the computer, inside a cubicle! I am proud to say that I have been in this business (total sedentary life) for 5 years. I have no carpo-tunnel and no pain! The secret to this is : Ergonomics. If you google this word, it will give your references.you have to sit and type properly and also stretch! It's very important to take breaks and stretch your arms, back and legs. If you do this right you will not have pain, it's also important to keep hydrated. Good luck!

take losts of small breaks where you streach and look someplace else and try closing your eyes once in a while. good luck
wear sun glasses, not too dark cus u wont see and also get a really comfortable chair

I agree with akincaid_sweetie86's answer.
I heave the same problem I sit at the computer all day long . But what i did is I put up my computer right in front of the window so every so often i just look out of the window to relax the eyes . That helps me . With the back thing I tried so many chairs and non of them helped so what I did is I put a pillow behind my back and it does help .
I recently saw at a Walgreens glasses that help with computer eyestrain.

As far as your back, maybe a back brace would help.

Either way, make sure to take enough breaks to help ease the pain. Good luck.
One thing about working in front of a computer, the screen might be too bright, so turn the brightness down.and for the back, nowadays there are covers you can put on your seat that make it so you sit straight up.that'll help your back.
Well first off you should drink a lot of water because water keeps you way more alert and less jittery than coffee or caffeinated beverages. Also sit with good posture and perhaps a chair with good lumbar support. You also want to make sure that your desk is the right height for you. your elbows should be at just over a 90 degree angle and to keep you all comfortable those soft pads that go accross the bottom of your keyboard makes things much nicer.
just fell asleep and dream that u in work
