The "colonia doctores" is a ugly neigborhood in México city, one of the most insecure places in the city.
if you are american, is a good idea dont even go there.
also, the places that you are naming are beaches, some of the prettiest of the country. a better place for a foraigner :-)

Dont know, i have never been in mexico, but people say it's very nice place, specially, cancun, cozumel, carmen beach, veracruz, acapulco, tampico.
