what does cigarette addiction feel like?!

Question: what does it feel like when you want a cigarette?
Answers:
Just an aggrivated feeling if you don't have one, or a momentary anxious feeling until you start to smoke. Not really much of a physical reaction. It is more of a mental habit than a physical addiction.

i dont think there are cigarette addiction cuz I myself smoke alot. But its not that if I dont smoke I'll die. It is sometimes that when u dont have cigarette u look here n there or for some1 to ask for 1 but I usually eat 2-3 almonds and that satisfies me :). I dont know if others feel the same.
The first thing is a "gut" feeling . get a little bit tense and then the mind starts working . "Boy, I would sure like a cigarette right now, it would feel good." NOT A GOOD TIME to have someone talk to me at this time, as it interrupts the process of "satisfaction" that goes with smoking. Body motions follow, like rubbing forefinger and thumb as if rolling a cigarette between them. Breathing becomes a little more rapid and a little bit more shallow. The thought of having a cigarette makes me take a deep breath at this point, as if I just had a drag from one. Sometimes I start gritting my teeth and start grinding them a little bit. Mind becomes VERY focussed on the idea of having a cigarette and I visually see me smoking. Movements become quicker, such as walking, reaching for the pack of cigarettes, retrieving a cigarette and ulitimately fumble around with the lighter.

My advice . if you don't smoke . DON'T START . it is the toughest thing I have tried to kick for YEARS. The problem . I enjoy every aspect of smoking from holding the pack in my hand. Taking the cellophane off. Opening the pack, removing the foil and seeing my 20 best friends.

Okay . now I need a smoke . sorry to leave you hanging with the rest of this ...
Actually it feels like nothing after a few days of u started to smoke. At first it would taste good gives some KICK on ur head and later as you get used to it it is nothing but beware you cannot leave it so easily. Luckily I did

It feels fine, as long as you don't want to stop; then it makes you edgy. I became "cranky" when I quit, and I smoked a lot, so I really missed it. It is now twenty years since I've had a cigarette and I still fidget with my hands. And I'm sure that if I had just one smoke it would be just like I never stopped.
its just a nagging feeling you feel like your missing something until you have one and when you are smoking it youre thinking about your next one ,having said that there is a lot of nonsence talked about cigarette addiction, someone said to me once that it was worse than heroin addiction and that heroin is easier to kick, thats crap, if I run out of cigarettes I wouldnt go out and mug someone for a cigarette, but I probably would If I was a heroin addict.
