Other Answers:
If you are over 40, then you should go see a doctor for that. They should suggest if you need a mammogram or not.
the only way to know for sure is to ask your doctor to examine it, sorry
CALL YOUR DOCTOR! TODAY!
You need to consult with your doctor ASAP! In other words, call first thing this next week. Only a doctor working with othere health care specialists can distinguish a benign lump from a cancerous one. (Note: this applies regardless of age or geneder -- while women of a certain age are at highest risk of breast cancer, it can show up at other ages as well as in men).

They might employ one or more diagnostic techniques including physical exam, a mamoram (essentially an x-ray of your breast), an ultrasound (uses sound waves) and, perhaps, some sort of biopsy (such as a small needle biopsy).

Please understand that these tests will take some time to be scheduled and interpreted -- those can be scary times. During that time it is worth remembering that it may turn out to benign or a very easily treatable item.

Best wishes.
go to a doc.
I think you should go to a Doctor right now. Cancer is a difficult disease and has no cure. I recommend you to go as fast as possible cuz if the cancer develops you will need to have operations.
Self examine yourself in the shower or go to your doctor to have a mammogram.
Call the American Cancer Society or your doctor. Cancer is easily treated at its early stage so don't waste time.
You need to make an appointment with your physician. Could be something.Could be nothing. You'll know when you see a doc.
Get a mammogram, like right away!
only a mamogram can answer your questions.
I found one in my breast when I was 19, and it wasn't cancer. It was fibroadenoma, which is a noncancerous "tumor" that's actually pretty common among women - especially young and Afro-American women.
I am 22 and it is still there. I have it checked every now & then just to make sure nothing has changed. If I have problems with it, it can be removed.
Another friend of mine had a lump that changed in size quickly & was painful for her. It turned out to be a cyst, and it was simply drained with a needle.
Your doctor can properly diagnose your lump, but don't put it off.
