I would like some advice/help?!

Question:
today has been horrible. i am a high school student and i had a track meet (invitational only) today. i ended up giving up half way through the 800 meter race that i ran and i have just been depressed all day. these girls kept following me around and annoying the crap out of me. along with that, for my 1600 meter race, it was hailing and another girl had my underarmour. i get too cold very easily and it pissed me off since i had to run in the weather in nothing but my uniform. i was freezing and shivering really bad before and after the race. i just wanted to cry in the worst way. we left my school for the meet at 8:00 and it was 6:00 before the meet got over and i had not eaten yet so i was cranky. it was a hour and a half bus ride home and we didnt stop for dinner. well when i got home my dad took my phone from me because my grades werent as good as he expects. my phone is my life! he took it!

I did CC in high school, and it was the worst time i've ever had in my life even though i was the top runner. i think you should quit track. it realy doesn't sound like you're having a good time of it. i wish someone would have made me quit CC--my life would have been so much better!Waaay too much pressure. I've learned that all the things in HS i thought were such huuuge problems really aren't that big of a deal. If you want to talk sometime, i'm here. As for the phone thing..it won't last forever. Use the time you would've talked to friends to write in a journal, figure out things in your life.

quit track it doesnt seem like u enjoy it, and get on your books.

Gosh, you sound like the John Denver song, SOME DAYS ARE DIAMONDS< SOME DAYS ARE STONE . your day was miserable, but you were able to recognize it as such because you know what the other side of the coin is like. Tomorrow will be better..and be good to yourself : eat well, rest, have fun, learn.

Get "back on track" with your grades and give up on track. It sounds like you were really miserable. Put all that effort into improving your grades for at least a semister and see what happens. You might get your phone back. Good Luck!.)(

well, a bad day hey. Look we all have those days, it's not what happened to you on this day was the problem, I tend to believe it's a mind set that you were in, and that mind set made you vulnerable, and all it took was a different mind set to make you respond to the stressful situations that you were in, in a stronger, more assertive way.So be strong!!

when you have a meet and its cold outside get one of those disposalble back wraps that gets hot the ones they advertise for back aches they sell them at walmart for like 5.00 as for your dad he's right about your grades but try explaining to him that its hard to concentrate in class with so much stress in the other aspects of your life

Don't worry, ONE crappy day will not defy you for the rest of the season. Just do your best in school and on the tracks, eventually you'll have your grades better, you'll be a better athlete and the most important thing, your phone back. If you need to cry do it. Don't eat your own anger, it's better to let it all out. Good luck
