Does blood get extremely thick when you are diabetic?!

Diabetes is when your pancreas no longer produces insulin. Insulin is needed for the cells to utilize carbs for energy. If you are lacking insulin the cell will break down fats and protein, but no your blood does not get thicker if you have diabetes or pre diabetes.

Hemadocrit level is high (high red blood cells). This is caused form smoking, painkillers, lack of exercise, and more. This could be a problem with your kidneys. Get to a doc. and have a blood test done. Get this done fast, the thickening of blood can cause stroke or heat attack!
