help me lose weight? i really messed up my metabolizim, with drugs (speed)?!
Question:
I was a heavy speed user (ice) for years, i have now been clean for 3 years, but have put on alot of weight (about 50 lbs)and cant seem to get it off, I diet and exersice,but lose just a few lbs. that come right back on. Please help, and no cute or funny answers like start doing speed again, that is not an option, it took me a long time to get clean and would like to keep it that way

Go have your thyroid tested and if it comes back negative for problems have them look into wilsons syndrome. It is a thyroid problem that isn't picked up with traditional tests. Has something to do with the way the body converts T-4 to T-3 or vice versa, i don't remember quite what it is. You can look it up online, it's Wilsons Syndrome, not wilsons disease, which is a whole different problem.
