How can I get to be a better housekeeper?!

Question:
My house is a mess and I don't have any urge to clean it. I am lonely and feel I put in a good day at work and get home and just want to lay down or watch tv or get on the computer. Need hints on how to get moving.
Answers:
Hire someone to clean for you. I myself work for a company that cleans houses. Also, there are a lot of products on the market that make cleaning much easier and usually quicker than it used to be.

Other Answers:
get off your lazy a-ss and do it geez!!

Scrub your sink.

No kidding. Empty out your sink every night and scrub it until it gleams. Dry it (no water spots!) and it'll be perfect.

Don't ask me why, but this really works to get you in a good frame of mind for a little cleaning up.

do maintencance cleaning- don;t let it build up because it gets soo much harder.
I work alot so I know this first hand.

my mom can be the same way sometimes too. shez tired alot becuz she works 2 jobs. try taking off some time from work or make time for urself.

I know this feeling! Just do one corner at a time and within a week you will see a great improvement, only ONE CORNER A DAY!

Don't try to tackle the whole thing at once. Decide on one area as a priority, like the kitchen. Then give it one good hour, and make it a habit to keep the kitchen clean every day after you cook.

Then move on to one more priority. By then you'll be in the habit of keeping two areas clean every day, and it won't seem like so much of a chore.

Just start cleaning, give your self a different job to do each night after work. One room at a time.
I don't like cleaning but I like a clean house.
